Chronic fatigue syndrome, or CFS, is a disorder of unknown origin that
is characterized by unexplained tiredness lasting a year or more and is
accompanied by cognitive (thought-related) difficulties as well as headaches,
pain in the muscles and joints, and other symptoms.
