There is no known way to prevent conjoined twins other than avoidance
of the small number of drugs that have been associated with conjoined
twinning in a few cases. The condition is considered to be sporadic
(occurring at random); parents do not have an increased risk of having
a second set of conjoined twins in a later pregnancy.
